Greeting

In the spring
of 2008 Jerez will host the sixth International Noble Wines
Exhibition, the only one in the world devoted exclusively
to fortified, dessert and special sweet wines. Yet again
Vinoble will be held in the grounds of the Arab Alcázar,
Jerez's most important and oldest monument, a construction
of Almohad origin which was built in the 12th century. An
almost magical combination between continent and content
is thus created, in such a way that the senses and emotions
of all wine lovers are expanded at Vinoble.
The exhibition to be held from 25 to 28 May this year will
include three new countries - Mexico, Turkey and Jordan - so
that practically all those of the fortified, dessert and
special sweet wines world will be present. |
At this sixth exhibition Vinoble will reinforce its position
as a world reference in this speciality, becoming an unavoidable
meeting point for wine producers, distributors and journalists.
Furthermore, an international sommeliers congress will coincide
with Vinoble to be attended by major expert representatives
of this profession.
So once again Jerez and wine join forces to transmit to
the world the values of a thousands-of-years-old culture
which has survived because of its respect for the land, painstaking
labour and the hospitality which can be appreciated with
a glass of sherry.
To all those who want to come to our town and taste our wines,
we await you at Vinoble with warmest of our welcomes.
